I have always been into collecting toy trains.  So, when Jacob planned to take me, Heidi and his son to the train museum I thought it would have a lot of toy and model trains.  Damn was I wrong.  This museum has both toy and real trains.

When I first entered the museum I was taken by the huge display of real, life sized trains.  Steam engines, diesle engines, passanger train cars, life like people from the eras and so on.  I would suggest to anyone to see this.  Historians, train collectors and all.

So, being the big kid I am, I did...and you should too!

This museum allows you and encourages you to climb, touch, and play with most of the trains.  So, being the big kid I am, I did...and you should too!  Not only do they encourage you to be a part of the fun, they also have a working steam engine train you can ride.  It is only a 10 minute ride that is worth it.  You can also try a hand cart, and ride a small train around the grounds.  I didn't get on it, but I wish I did.  Oh yeah!  The museum even has legos to play with.  Legos everywhere!!

After spending a few hours in the museum I began to get hungry.  Off to McDonalds we go!  Nothing new and exciting about McDonalds.
