Beautiful Paro is the first place most visitors see, as it has the only airport. The flight from India, or Nepal is fantastic, and most times you will get a very clear view of MT EVEREST. Paro is very green, and has many orchards of apples, pears and other fruits - that blossom in the spring. There are many native flowers that bloom also. It is a sleepy, peaceful little town and valley. Farming is the main activity, and almost every household has crops growing in their gardens.
