As a theater lover, today was one of the coolest experience I could have imagined.  A friend of ours, Zoe, works as a dresser for The Producers and she gave us a back stage tour and then we went with her to a cast party.  The fact that we have seen this show made it so much more relevant to Patrick and even he was thinking how cool the whole thing was.

The Producers is currently showing at the Drury Lane Theater; the oldest theater in London.  Part of our tour included stories about how haunted it is.  We didn't see any ghosts, but at the cast party even the cast was talking about ghost sightings.  Apparently there is the ghost of a clown that pushes the actors into the spot light when they miss it.  There is also a young girl and a victorian woman who wander around the theater.  Also, Drury Lane is incapable of having a full house because there is a ghost that occupies one of the seats and they will never, ever sell that seat.  It was really cool to hear these stories and kind of creepy to be in the theater.

The cast party was really good.  Seeing some of the main characters in their street clothes and hearing their real voices was funny.  The girl who plays "Ula", the swedish bombshell in the play looked and sounded completely different from her onstage personality.  On the other hand, the guy who played Max looked and talked just like his character.

Thanks to Zoe for inviting us to experience this, it was really cool.
