After spending most of the day on the bus we arrived in Avignon.  We checked into our hotel to find that the room we were staying in had not one, but three windows!!!  We really felt safe there!  After opening ALL the windows, we realised why, they had to put three windows in to block out the annoying tune the train station next door played everytime an announcement came on!!

We had a bite to eat and headed off for a quick tour of Avignon.  It was the night before christmas and all through the streets of Avignon were a trail of Contiki's wearing flashing Santa hats care of our crazy tour leader!  We got alot of strange looks and alot of cars beeping at us!
