And i thought Cinsta was isolated! I'm here in a very rural S.A. There are two Backpackers at the end of a long dirt track and very little else . It's wonderful.

I took a hike with some S.Africans along the Coast. It's that isolated there are no cars or roads , shops , police- you get the picture.

What there is though are colouful little huts dotting the hillside, some with a small plot of  cultivated land. Children ran up to see us at one point and loved having their pictures taken.

We had a chance to jump from the cliff face into a river and that took almost more bottle than i have .It looks a lot higher up there!

Some truly amazing scenery and that day stands out as one of the highlights so far.

New Years eve was amazing, with both backpackers hosting big parties. Coffee Shack went with a foam party, while Bhomvu was a more cultural affair.

A large stage by the river was addorned with drummers and dancers in the early evening. Later the music was more trancy, getting the hippies out of the woodwork.

I alternated between the two and entered the new year with some very boozy lads.
