Located 22 km from Saint Remy, Avignon palace of the popes is an ancient and historical town surrounded by a fortified wall. It's full of life and music. The annual Avignon festival comprises of traditional theatrical events, music and dance. Le Mistral wind which blows so strongly is a noticeable phenomenal in this region.
