Day 1:

Arrived in Paris in the evening. After getting our luggage we caught a buis to the centre of the city. Whie on the bus we started to practice our French and an old couple asked us if we needed any help. They agreed to help us get to the correct metro station and help buy our tickets.  We found the hostel alright and went to bed.

Day 2:

Went to the Eiffel Tower - amazing, huge, great views (as you can see from the pictures).

Walked to Arc de Triomphe and tried to get in for free by saying we were 17 but if you are under the age of 18 you have to go up with an adult!!! So we left and went up it at night. - Amazing, the Eiffel Tower was light up beautifully.

Day 3:

Went to Sacre Coeur first - beautiful and once again great views. Had crepes and walked around the souvineer shops.

Got on a train to try and get to Notre Dame and found out we were goin goin the wrong direction! Finally got to the right station and thought that Notre Dame was 2 different churches. After looking in and around the Cathedral we got on a boat and went up and back down the river Siene.

After our boat ride we got on a bus to "go home" and discovered a market where we bought our dinner. We also discovered we were right beside the Pantheon so we stopped off their and had a look around.

When we got back to the hostel we made our dinner and then decided to walk around Moulin Rouge. Very interesting and after some French chocolates we went back to the hostel to bed!

Day 4:

We had a sleep in because we were so exhausted,  woke up for breakfast and then went back to bed again! After a nice long rest we got up and caught a train into the centre of Paris and wandered around for about an hour. Then it was back to the hostel to pick up our bags and head to the train station to catch a train to La Rochelle.
