I woke up early again today to go to the beach to catch the sunrise again. But this time I set off a little later. From yesterday's experience.

The beach was really quite today. The pool guy has overslept. The ladies clearing the seaweed have taken the day off, I think. Even the stray dogs were not around. I have the whole beach to myself, except for a few early-bird guests.

I took a stroll to the far end of the beach, into the territory of another hotel, I think. Because some guy with a walkie-talkie asked me some questions. I think he thought I was Japanese. He used some simple Japanese words.

The sky was cloudy again, so I couldn't get any shot of the sun rising over the horizon. That is a shame. I was really hoping to get one of that kind of shot.

I love taking pictures of the sun. I have quite a few in my collection. And these will go into my collection too, I guess.

After I got tired of walking around, I went back to the hotel room and went back to bed. It was still very early. Then, it was time to check out. We were met at the lobby by the same tour guide who took us on the city tour.

It was an uneventful ride to the airport. But some of us were already hungry, without breakfast. Our flight was an afternoon one, which meant that the inflight meal would be served only around 2pm. That would have been too late. So some of us decided to go to the McDonald's in the departure lounge.

There was only a small counter there. Behind the counter was a cafeteria-style space where they sold burgers too, among other food like fried noodles, etc. Jo actually mistook that for the McDonald's. It was pretty hilarious.

The counter guy set things straight by explaining that that was the counter for taking your orders. Once an order has been placed, they will prepare it at the store just outside the airport and they would be sent in.

Soon after we had polished off our food, we had to board the plane. The trip has come to an end.

I felt that I didn't have enough time at the beach or do to any sea sports. Also we didn't get to go to Tanalot Temple. I guess there's always a next time.
