Today was awesome. It was one of the coolest days so far. We went to a waterfall up in the mountains inland from Trang. It was about four or five stories high and so, so beautiful. We climbed up part of it, and the water felt like thousand of fingers angrily poking at your back. I absolutely loved it. I climbing about five feet inside it, on the bottom ledge and just let the water surround me. It was LOUD. And very strong. The pictures my friend took got fogged because of the mist, but you can still see how big it was.

Then we went to a weaving center in Trang where they make gorgeous fabrics with wooden looms. I bought ten and a half meters of fabric for 3200 baht, 80 bucks. It's unbelievable. And it's equally unbelievable to watch them weave it--there are all these foot pedals...I didn't understand it at all!
Anyway, check out the pictures. Also, I got reservations at a hostel in Bangkok for my last four nights here (August 6-10), and it's magically close to the cooking school I'm going to while I'm in Bangkok. Hooray! I didn't even know that when I booked it.

One more thing, Trang has the best iced coffee I've ever had. It's addictive, which is problematic, since it also happens to be Ambien-proof. CAFFEINE!!!
Okay...pictures.
