Florence was somewhere Shawn really thought we should go to since he really liked it when he went last Christmas.  Well he was right, Florence was a stop that no one regreted.  To start with the Hostel was amazing.  Our room was around 700sq feet and had two bedrooms with desks and closets along with a seperate kitchen and dinning room, all with AC.  The view was not great since we were in the residencial part of Florence but the room had a deck the wrapped around the entire room and we made a good time of it.  The staff were really the only ones who did anything at night so we ended up partying with them a few nights.

The town Florence is beautiful as it is littered with amazing sights and some great museums.  It is another of those towns where you can just walk around and find things to do.  We did unfortunatly have to get up ealry some mornings to see things such as The David, which suprisingly was more than I had expected.  We also took a look at the Duoma which was created by Michelangelo and I think that the outside is the most amaying thing we have seen yet.  The inside was really nothing special but the outside, well you just have to do the whole come-to Florence thing.

We also took a day trip to a Vineyard with a tour.  As much as I hate tours, this was the only ws to get out there and it also included a tour of the Castle where they make the wine and also some excellent extra virgin olive oil.  The views where amazing and the wine was incrediblely good, especially since we got a wine tasting included, along with some traditional Italian tapas.  So Good!

I will definetly have to come back to Florence though since we didn't have enough time to see it all.
