Day 11: Acapulco again
From One Year Tour in Acapulco, Mexico on Oct 19 '06
And so back to Acapulco to meet our friend Colin and his travelling mate Michelle. What a difference a bit of sunshine makes to a city. Turns out Acapulco is a lot of fun. Checked into a bit of a grotty hotel near the Zocalo and we spent a lot of time on the beach; and most of that time was spent watching women´s beach volleyball. The Volleyball World Tour had rolled into town and after only a few hours of watching it, we realised without the women´s skimpy attire, beach volleyball is bloody boring! We had one experience of Acapulco´s night life: a bar with unlimited drinks and a rather shabby foam party. We certainly got our entrance fee back and then some! Felt terrible the next few days and then off to meet Colin. Next down the coast to Puerto Escondido.
