Hi again,

We decided to include one more write up from Taipei to briefly mention our trip up the worlds tallest building: the Taipei 101 building.

Heather said she could feel the building moving quite often, small movements mind you but noticeable ones.

The building itself is huge: I think it's 508m. The observation floor is one the 89th floor and you definitely feel high up. The elevator up there is officially the fastest in the world as well. It only took usless than20 seconds to go from floor 5 to floor 89...and you barely feel a thing!!! The views were amazing. The entire city, which in itself is huge, is completely laid out before you.

Heather said she could feel the building moving quite often, small movements mind you but noticeable ones. There's write ups that talk about how the tower is constructed to withstand earthquakes, of which Taipei gets lots of small to medium sized ones.

We'd definitely recommend checking out the tower if you happen to be in Taipei, but unless you're a big time afficianado (spelling?) of skyscrapers, don't come here just to see it!

That's all for now.

Mike and Heather
