Woke up to a beautiful sunrise, even more peaceful, mesmerizing, and meditative.  It's only 7 am, and the temperature is already rising. I went for an early run along the beach. Boy, it got hot fast!  So, I decided to take dip in the waters to cool off!

I bought a hammock from the village store. I figure I better make myself as comfortable as possible for the next few days.  With the help of my neighbors, up it went! I was scared to get in, as I kept thinking about the episode of Three's Company and Jack Tripper, where he kept flipping over during a camping trip. I was sure it would happen to me too.  Once I got the hang of it, it was snug as a bug! I had a mid-morning nap swaying in my net!

I decided not to do any snorkeling or diving this time around, since it would be more fun with friends. Also, did not want to worry about theft or my belongings! So, I opted to just RELAX, and possibly get a tan. Amazing that by doing nothing, time can still pass fairly quickly.

In the afternoon, I ventured out for a walk, possibly explore the other side of the bay, Yai (big). Since the beach is lined with numerous accomodations, I kept my eyes open for a possible new residency.  I climbed wooden steps to what seemed like the other side, however, was stopped short due to unstaple steps! Instead, I climbed up and over to the majestic, Panmivan Resort! Wow, this is what I'm talking about! The pool was casading over a waterfall, and felt like it was connected to the ocean. Albeit, was high on the cliffside, but I decided there and then I would be moving!  It was $100/night vs. my current hut @ $25/night. I didn't care.

I felt so much better afterwards. There was light at the end of the tunnel!! Instead of being a complete wuss about my current accomodations, however, I decided to stay at least another night.  I did have my hammock, looking out to the ocean, through swaying palm trees.  Peeps were all pretty chill and it was a decent place to be. Nonetheless, I weighed my options.

In the evening, it is an entire preparation party in my bunglaow! Before dinner, I prep my abode by sweeping my place, bring down the mosquito net, turn on the fan, light my cintronella candles, cintronella sticks, and brace for my cold water shower! Damn, if I'm going to let those blood-sucking mosquitoes get me.  Instead of applying moisturizing lotion after my goose-bump inducing shower, I opt for my trusty bottle of Mosquito Repellant! After 13 bites and counting, it was time for them to seek another victim.  From head to toe, and back up again, I wreak of repellant!  Let's see if this will repel or attract the guys!
