Relaxing with family on the farm

Medicine Hat was welcoming, homey and relaxing for the second time around.  Summer of 2005 was my first visit.  This time round, things were cooling off a touch, and the grass was brown as it's apparently supposed to be, rather than green from excessive rain the previous summer.

We were fed well everyday, with such yummy treats as turkey dinner, giant Alberta steaks, and home-made cookies.  The company was lovely, and the landscape was perfect for unwinding.  The slower pace made it easy to get back in touch with the important things in life.
