Sarasota a great place but time to go.

Lot's to do to get ready. Get the shots. Pay the bills for three months. Pack and repack. It's been hectic but now that it's upon us we're starting to look forward to the trip.

Only two months to go.

As always, last minute problems. Just when we were trying to do some power-work, the internet goes down and stays down for the entire final day of the week. I don't know if you can mention company names like Comcast in these journals but if I could I wouldn't have anything good to say about them. Hours on hold. Broken problems. (I see their shares dropped about 14% the following week. Good! My curse worked)

As I write this it's 6:30 in the morning at Starbucks which is the only place I can find an internet access that works. Hopefully, this isn't a preview of the luck to come.

Postscript: At the very first of what will be a couple dozen airport security checks we were both taken out of line for a complete search. These signs are becoming ominous.
