Day 1 - Well, we arrived to beautiful hot weather, and were picked up in the afternoon for our Uluru at sunset tour. Our first stop was the Olgas, beautiful red rock formations. We had a little walk up between two of the rocks, and then headed off to Uluru. Such a huge rock amongst so much flat land. On arrival we were offered wine and canapes, and then we settled down to watch the sun set. Bliss. We finished with a meal at Geckos cafe... our hotel a little too expensive!!!

Day 2 - 5.30am pick up! Very ealy... and dark! But what an amazing way to start the day. Uluru changed colour so much, it was just amazing. We then went for 2 walks around the base of the rock (whilst some people chose to climb it), and learnt some of the stories relating to it. The tour finished with a stop at a cultural center... very interesting. In the afternoon we set off for Kings Canyon. On route we stopped off for a cuppa... and we rode a camel. It was only $7, well worth it.
