Day 28:

Afer quite a long winded journey to Candi Dasa...ferry....bus...bus....bus....a journey which we thought would be 2 hours was 5 in the end when you threw in the fact that we had to keep changing buses.

Usual job of finding somewhere decent to stay...stopped at Dewa Bungalows. Right on the sea front....with a room with a pool and sea view which we insisted on having for half the price. Pool right in front of the sea. Awesome...probably the best room all round that we had.

Took a well earned dip in the pool and a snooze in the sun...I felt rough (ste) so we had a quiet night.

Day 29:

Feeling much more alive we went on our snorkelling trip which we had booked the day before with a local boat owner. Boat was a tiny 3 seater...which left you open to the elements i.e. we got wet!! Snorkelling was awesome..probably some of the best we have seen....loads of fish that would come to your mask....colourful reefs.....big mix of colourful fish.....durna durna durrnnaaa!! we saw a SHARK. Well a 3-4 foot one...big enough for us though. It started to circle us at one point which we thought was interested but we are alive to tell the tale! Back on shore we took a walk around Candi Dasa for some dinner. Pretty small resort on one street....but very chilled out and swanky on the sly.

In the afternooon had a beer overlooking the sea and had a massage that cost 3 quid for both of us for half an hour each.

Went out for tea and Vikki picked probably the most expensive restaurant in town...good though...and not that expensive compared to home...just Indonesia expensive.
