hey everyone,

lyna here...

Disclqimer 1 : Isabelle asked me to say that this current blog is written by lyna and it may or may not reflect the views and opinions of one Isabelle Park. Locations visited are fact though the opinions may vary as we are different people =)

Disclaimer 2: the keyboards change with every city we go to. So, here in Paris:

- punctuation is all over the place

- a is where q use to be and vice versa

- w, e, m, z is mixed up

so I will try my best to catch all the errors – if I miss some, use the key above to decipher the blog entry... kinda like your own Da Vinci Code thing =o)

k – it was a 3 hour and expensive train ride from London to Paris and then we had to manuever the Paris underground to get to our hostel. Maybe it was the train ride through the Chunnel or the Paris underground because when we finally surfaced – there was this unexplainable euphoria rising from within. It was the air or maybe it was the buildings... my cheeks were getting sore from the silly smile on my face... WOOHOO! We’re in Paris!!!

First we found our hostel... i mean hotel. Tiny room with our own toilet and shower and TV... only in french though =) Awesome little place and kinda want to keep it a secret but i think it will get out - Hotel Boissiere... sweet little place with a bakery on the corner and coin laundry just down the street. It's far enough away from the main stream but totally reachable through the Paris Metro. And the reception dude is CHAUD!!! We were being checked in by this man who looked like he stepped out of GQ and intoa desk job without messing up his hair... but alas, i've had my camera waiting for him for the last 2 days and he hasn't been back... probably got a modelling contract somewhere and is strutting his stuff on a runway... sigh... >=p

Our first stop after checking in was the boat ride on the Seine. Highly recommend it as it gives you an idea of how Paris is laid out. There are lots of boat companies on the water - try Bateaux Mouches.

The boat ride gave us our road map for our second day in Paris.
