Final preparations & packing! Week before my trip!

After lots of saving, planning & organsing it's very nearly time for me to start my trip! Starting to get excited but part of me doesn't quite believe October has come around this quickly! Finished work at end of september & thought 2 weeks would be heaps of time to get stuff done but has literally just flown by! Still think i am pretty much ready to go & have got most stuff sorted, at least i hope so!! I must have been to literally every outdoor store in the whole of london buying travel gear! Best thing has been having chance to catch up with lot of people before i head off, has been really good seeing everyone! Also had nice send off from work with lots of cool travel related pressies!

ok well that's it for now i suppose i better get on with my packing!! Will write my first proper journal entry when get to Washington DC!
