As we arrived at the docks we really weren't sure which of the boats was ours for the evening, I was hoping for the larger one- it's just a more comforting idea over all of the water. We had to wait in the docking area for a few hours. I used the time to make a call home to my mom, and actually found a phone that took coins and allowed me to call home. For four euro I managed to talk for 15 minutes, which wasn't bad at all in my mind. So I meandered back over to the group where Dessy and Michelle were joking if they ate anymore on this trip they would break the buses- AND then they sat down and the bench they sat on completely tipped over, it was the perfect moment, so funny.

After a few hours we managed to get on and the boat was much nicer than I was expecting. Some people took the boat for the night and didn't pay for a room, you could pay just to be on the boat and sleep in the lobby areas on chairs- something I had never seen before, but it didn't seem like such a bad deal. However, being part of a tour group we were given rooms- because that's what we paid for. The rooms were dorm style with four of us in each with the tiniest of bathrooms, but at least we were given the option to shower. We were roomed with Marni and Veronica which was awesome because it gave us a chance to bond a little more as we were coming to the end of the trip.

Our first mission after unloading our bags was to get to the pool deck and watch setting sail from Italy. It was such an amazing week there, I definitely want to go back. It was still sunny out and there was a pool to lay next to so we all got our bathing suits on and got some color while cruising across the Mediterranean. Even the water bubbling behind the ship in it's wake was a beautiful turquoise.

As the sunset across the horizon we all stood at the back of the ship- it was beautiful, but sad at the same time because we were going to our last country and this trip would soon be over. After the sun had set we went inside to the indoor bar where we played card games and enjoyed the remainder of our nights together.

The next morning we slept a little later than usual, because we wouldn't be arriving until noon. We had to be out of our rooms by ten, but sleeping until nine on this trip was like a Saturday afternoon in college when you'd sleep until two, so absolutely refreshing- even in bunk beds in a room 5 by 10.

We were getting off the boat in Patras- so we had another bus ride ahead of us. It would be approximately six hours before we would get to the dock where we would take a very short ferry to our Poros destination.
