On arriving back from the jungle, the jungle, the jungle in the, in the jungle we stay at a hostel which is right next to a bar we wanted to use in the theory that we could just slump next door and pass out after our night out. We decided to go out the night after though because we had an early start for the Petronas towers. So we stayed at this hostel the night in. However, it had no sheets, charged for toilet paper, had rats, a bunk bed that didn't work and the people running it were rude and shit so we decided in the morning to leave and go back to the one we used last time we were in Kuala Lumpur.

We woke up at half six in order to get one of the free tickets to go up to the sky bridge between the two towers which we manged. From the outside the towers were amazing to look at. Huge! Bigger than Pavey! And when we were waiting to go up we were shown a short movie explaining why Petronas is in fact a briliant company. Now some say its propaganda but no... I beleive that if it wasn't for Petronas (an oil company) Kids in Malaysia would not want to read. What a great company. From the skybridge the view was alright. It wasn't as good as the view from the skytower, but from there you can SEE the Petronas Towers, from the bridge you are IN the Petronas Towers. After that we had a walk around KL park in front of the towers and got told off by a crazy lady with a whistle lots. Shyly we walked away from her. We wanted to go to the Tioman islands next but because it was the end of Ramadan there were no boats over cos everyone went there on the bank holiday to celebrate eating in the day again (and god). We opted, (because we wanted to use a beach) to add another country to the trip, we decided to go to Bintang in Indonesia via Singapore. So we booked tickets to Singapore. Did a bit of shopping including me trying to buy a T-shirt for one Ringit (about 12p) claiming I had nothing else and eventually moving up to 2 ringit.10 sen. I did not get that T-shirt. I got an annoyed man. I also bought Katie a REAL GUCCI WATCH! (but I don't think she actually wanted one, but for that price aparantly I'd be a mug not to) Later Greg realised that he had lost his phone. Then he realised that he hadn't lost it, he had left it. In the nasty hostel. So we went back. We expected them to be nice people and offer the phone back but apparantly its 'tradition' for Greg to pay for his stuf back in a thankyou to the cleaner for 'not' slealing it. (after the cleaner had actually tried to steal it and lied). So we went back at 10pm (after a few Vodkas but clear heads) and bought it back from the slimy horrible people with their horrible stupid faces. Then we drank on the roof looking over the city and it was lovely. Then we went out to that bar and it was messy. Then we woke up and went to singapore. Cue next blog!

Patrona towers. and being bribed. So fun all round!

Wooo...i wonder which Kuala Lumpur hostel you were staying cos thats very nasty. In fact if they were caught by the authority they would be in trouble for portraying such a bad image. Well you seem like you had fun in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Hopefully you will be able to come back sometime. Will keep an eye on your blog and get to see your next destinations. Did you like the video about Petronas tower?. haha Probably.
