On our 7 hour bus trip from Cabarete to Las Terrenas, we made some breathtaking stops! We traveled part of the Northern Coast and stopped at Dudu/Laguna Blue Lagoon.  The photos don't even justify it, but it was a fourty foot deep blue/green, freshwater lagoon.  It was incredible! We swam in it, a bunch of people jumpe doff of the cliff into it and off of the tree branch as well.  It was refreshing to say the least.

Our second stop during the bus ride was at Playa Grande (Large Beach).  This was a gorgeos beach that was pretty much empty.  We ate lunch on the beach and went swimming.  It was so peaceful and amazingly natural! Next was a quick stop at Playa Diamante (Diamond Beach) where we pretty much got out, saw it and left.

We finally did arrive at Las Terrenas later on that evening.  It was a long and tiring bus drive, considering the bus drive was overcrowded ad very uncomfortable! While in Las Terrenas, we traveled to El Limon, where there was a ranch.  We each got a horse, and rode to a few secluded waterfalls and then finished hiking down to them.  We got to swim in them, which was a unique experience.  Then we rode back and at lunch at the ranch for the day.
