Days 9 & 10: Back to Johannesburg, Flying Home, and Extra Time

Day 9: Fly to Johannesburg and Overnight

There are usually four non-stop flights from Livingstone Airport to Johannesburg (approx. 1 hour 40 minutes). There are morning flights that arrive in around 3 pm and most long-haul overnight flights depart in the evening, so it is possible to have only a layover in Joburg and continue on home if you prefer.

Day 10: Fly Home

• You can cut a day in the Delta if need be

With More Time

• Botswana is often coupled with a trip to South Africa, but bear in mind that the best time to visit Cape Town and the Winelands is November – February, when there is little rain and warm temperatures prevail. This is the rainy season for Botswana.
