Celebrating our anniversary in Venice

From Europe and the Middle East in Venice, Italy on Jul 11 '07

A magnificent city, only spoiled by the hoardes of tourists dripping gelato as they clammer around the bridges to take a photo.  The city thrives on these tourists, charing 6 euros for a single ride on public transportation for tourists and 1 euro for the same ride for locals (not advertised of course, but we got the inside scoop from the locals)!  However, not to be deterred, we officially celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary here in Venice, since we were too busy dodging running bulls in Pamplona on the 9th.  Tourists aside, Venice is a magical place and getting lost in its narrow paths is tranquil and romantic.

Wow, amazing trip. You gave me the chance to look back on years ago and remember our trip and destinations to Europe; Definitly, a trip to remember!
