Arrawarra

We made our way up the coast on the Oz Experience bus.  This turned out to be completely different to the baz bus in south africa! It was packed with people, and we had an absolutely nuts driver who made us do lots of stupid stuff and make loads of mates and stuff which was pretty cool. We went to the Legends surf museum on the way which was full of old board designs and pictures which was good- they used to surf some really strange boards back in the day! We made our way to the surf camp at Arrawarra which is a tiny camp a little bit further up from Coffs Harbour.  It was pretty much right on the beach, and we chilled out in the evning with a few beers around the fire.  We got up really early in the morning and the other guys went for a surf lesson and I went for a surf on the pointbreak around the corner where I had perfect peeling waves pretty much all to myself! I scared myself silly again though as I was sure I saw a fin coming towards me at one point so I just paddled for the rocks as fast as I could! MAybe I'm just jumping at shadows! That morning we got back on the bus to go up to Byron Bay.
