into colombia

Ive made it into Colombia and it may be my favorite country so far. The land is fantastically beautiful and the people have been extrodinarily helpful and kind, its a shame this country gets such a bad wrap.  Popayan is a cute little town that essentially shuts down around 8pm. I havent run into any other tourists around here which is a nice change. The buildings are all white-washed which is breath-taking but annoying when i lean up against one of them. The town suffered a huge earthquake back in ´83 but you wouldnt be able to tell it, it has all been reconstructed to its former glory. Even though it is beautiful I have become a bit lazy and have stopped taking pictures of all the architecture, I´m kind of over it. The same with museums, there is only so much you can get out of them at this point since ive hit over dozens of them in the past couple months. So, today Im going to relax in a hammock and drink free orange juice from my hostel and attempt to find a post office. Lucky me
