Day trip to Sedona

Today I left Jake sleeping in bed and I took myself off to Sedona for a scenic drive...  I have heard alot about this place but only wanted to do a day trip.

The drive there is really pretty....This is red rock country (see pics)..

There isnt alot to say about the day trip other than the scenery and hiking is second to none.....I drove around, walked around and spent some time taking pics but other than that,,, just enjoyed being in the area...

Couldnt live here though,,, it is Road Runner country. Its Red, hot and dusty.... but the canyons are really pretty...

Tomorrow we head off the Las Vegas at 2.00am to get there by 7.00am.... I wish I could have stayed in this area longer... Maybe another time and another trip...

I am leaving the Grand Canyon with a burnt face but a happy one....
