After our week stint in Paris we found our selves taking another beautiful train ride North. I have to tell you after so many hours traveling in South America and South East Asia, Europe has been a dream because the train system actual works. We arrived in Amsterdam and easily made our way onto the tram system and to our hotel. We had a very nice large room with three beds and a large window overlooking Cartier and Louie Vitton. We somehow found a reasonably priced hotel in the middle of the swankiest neighborhood in Amsterdam, go figure.

Amsterdam is an amazing city, we had no idea how beautiful it would be. There is a Venice like canal system that flows though the city with a number of small bridges connecting the streets. Because the streets are so small almost everyone gets around on old bicycles. We spent hours walking the many canals and found time to visit the Heinekin Brewery and the Van Gogh Museum. We really had a blast.
The trees were exploding in color which looked so great with the old cobbled stone streets and bridges.

While the city is amazingly beautiful it was assentuated by the Fall colors that have been following us around Europe. The trees were exploding in color which looked so great with the old cobbled stone streets and bridges.
We are off to Munich to experience Octoberfest at its fullest, wish us luck.
