A fleeting cultural visit of Hue. Cindy, Ella and I took our first ride on cyclos to the Citadel, the Forbidden Purple City - a peaceful and beautiful part of Hue. We walked around the gardens, through the oriental temples and my obsession with dragons began...lots of photos!
On our second day in Hue we decided to take a Purfume River boat trip (slightly different from the last boat trip!). We cruised along the river stopping off at pagodas and the Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc. Beautiful surroundings that I have to say were enhanced when the heavens opened and we had to buy our purple ponchos...a good look for any girl!
