Sunday - Hong Kong

Arrived in HK to rain! Still hot and humid though and I had planned my 12 hour stopover with great detail.

Took express train straight to 'Central' (24 mins), took an open top bus (still raining!) and went up the Peak by funicular cable car (they call it the Peak Tram). Its a really steep train, almost vertical at some points!  Views great from the top but as usual, Hong Kong shrouded in pollution.  The misty rain didn't help.  Had a quick bite to eat and then went shopping.......

Major credit card damage - bought a new laptop for me and a PSP for Talia in one shop (did a bit of haggling and they threw in a laptop bag and a couple of games). Wanted to buy a phone too but didn't have enough time.

If you haven't yet been to Hong Kong, I would highly recommend it, even if its only a quick shopping stopover!
