Well, I figured since we had spent so much time in Oz.. I would compile a list of the best moments.  Now.. if I missed a great one.. feel free to comment at the bottom or send me an email...

Drum roll please.

Cheasy David Letterman Graphic with Paul Shaffer singing a bad song...

Runner Up # 10 - Live Earth.  Singing along to some old favourites.. and our new favourites 'Crowded House' with 45,000 of our friends was amazing... and apparently we helped the planet too.

Runner Up # 9 - West Coast Australia.  Liz, David and the Fam where amazing.. and well.. we swam with dolphins.  Enough said.

Runner Up # 8 - Tasmania.  Tazzie was stunning.. and empty because we went in the off season.  Endless open beaches.. wineglass bay.  Hard to top.

Runner Up # 7 - Whitsundays.  We may have cheaped out royally and bought the lowest end ticket available.. but seeing the white sand.. and sleeping on the kitchen table where unforgettable.

Ruuner Up # 6 - North Head.  The shout out to Chris and Heather.  We walked from Manley beach to North head for the view of a lifetime.. and we also took the photo that I think defined out young/yuppy time in Oz... plus Heather went for a walk... which in itself is amazing.

Runner up # 5 - Chrismas 2007/New Years.  Visitors Monika, Luke, Jess and Chris made our Christmas/New Years unforgetable.  We even managed to sneak in beach tour south of Sydney.  New Years was.. well.. ridiculous.  Simply put.. amazing.

Runner Up # 4 - Uluru/Kings Canyon.  Seeing the masive rock and walking through the amazing Canyon left us both awe struck.  A must for all those in Australia.

Ruuner UP # 3 - Fraser Island.  Greg, Team Norway, Mikkel, Tanja and Mieke touring the sand roads and amazing beaches.  This was the beginning of an amazing tour down the coast with some amazing friends.  I even got to teach some soccer lessons to team belly.

Runner Up # 2 - Engagements.  Chris, Krystal, Erik, Heather.. all engaged while in Australia.  I thought I would mix up the order to keep you guessing.  I am probably going to get in trouble for not putting this at the top.

Runner Up #1 - Road Trip.  We gathered up the swedish twins, their friend Ted and Chris/Heather and went south for the most amazing trip.  We stayed in probably the worst accomadation in Australia.. but still made the most of it.  The picture in Jervis Bay might be our best.

CHAMPION

Australian Open 2007.

I would have loved to have put a number 1 with all our friends involved.. but the tennis was impossible to top.  To get day after day after of free tickets to the sport you grew up player.. and then get free tickets to the final to watch Roger Federer from the players box was the experience of a lifetime.  Daniel Nestor and his wife get a huge thumbs up for their generosity.

So.. there you have it.  I am sure I missed about 1000 amazing moments.. but to me these were the best.  Honourable mention goes to dinners with Chris, Heather, Mick and Ashleigh and our city to surf run.  I could have probably made a top 50 moments from our time with Chris and Heather on Kent st.. but that will have to wait for another blog.
