  • Off we went again at 10am with Wikki all clean inside and ready to go. With a few wrong turns we headed down Challans where we stopped for another yummy baguette for lunch. By this time we felt we had been travelling forever but not getting anywhere, because of the bloody roundabouts!!! We therefore decided to jump on the toll way. Very quick but we paid fro it, 18euro’s ouch!! We learnt our lesson (again!!) We arrived in the beautiful wine region of St Emillion on dark (Gorgeous town) and thank goodness we caught the tourist office still open. We were drawn a map to the winery we were staying at and were camped up at 6:30ish. It was so wonderful, a huge open space surrounded by trees and vines. We had the whole place to ourselves. We had leftovers for dinner then a brief walk to check out the place, before rugging up because it was a cold night. Looking forward to waking up overlooking vineyards.
