Missed flight to Caracas, one more night in CR

I woke up this morning at 7 am to get myself to the airport for a 10:30 flight. Plenty of time, I thought to myself.

Breakfast was served at 7:30...and that is perhaps when I got a little behind.

People started talking about what they`re doing, what I`m doing, where I`m going...you know, that traveller talk thing.

Then it was 8:20 and I`m thinking, whoa..gotta get going, but I´ll be fine, the airport`s only 20 mins away. Plenty of time, I thought to myself.

I wanted to take the bus so I asked directions and headed that way...20 mins later, walking with my pack, I didn´t see any airport bus... so I resorted to a taxi. It`s now 8:40. Plenty of time...I think...

Well, it`s just my luck that today a truck decided to flip and land in the middle of the highway... it took me an hour 20 mins to make a 20 min trip to the airport. That morning flight to Caracas was the only one... and I now have to wait till tomorrow. Which is fine I suppose...gives me extra time to plan for Venezuela...but still kinda sucks.

SO now I`m at a hotel right near the airport so I can make it in plenty of time tomorrow. Wish me luck.
