The German sleeping in the top bunk above me was moving around alot and really shaking the bed and the other one was snoring all night ended up waking up around 3am and about every hour until about 6am, so I didn't sleep well. The older Germans left early and checked out which I was really happy about. I walked down to the Adelaide Explorer Bus pick-up spot and the bus left just after 9am. I was the only person on the bus, but we picked up to elderly ladies from New Zealand and got a guided tour of Adelaide and North Adelaide. We got the history of the city and alot of the parks and monuments in it. We stopped for some pictures at Light's Vision, the Colonel William Light statue, which overlooks the city from North Adelaide. We also stopped at the St. Peter's Catherdral, which was really amazing. The bus dropped us off back in the city for about a hour and half break while the bus did another city tour. I grabbed some morning tea (breakfast) and walked through the Rundle Mall again and then back to the hostel to grab my sunglasses. I met the bus back at the bus stop around noon and it took us to Glenelg, which is a coastal town and it reminded me alot of back home in Hermosa. I walk down the strand in both directions and out onto the pier, or jetty as they call it. I also did the Rodney Fox Shark Experience for $6.50, which was a very small museum of shark jaws, teeth, shark models, and other stuff. There was also a twenty minute video that gave Rodney Fox's story and had alots of his shark exploits. Basically, he was attacked by a great white when he was in his early twenties while competing in a spear fishing event. The shark bit him, but eventually let go and he somehow made it to the surface; he ended up with 472 stitches in his torso and 93 in his hand. Today his is an avid shark conservationist and is trying to bring awareness of the endanagerment of many of the sharks today, including the great white shark. I was feeling a little homesick there so I grab a beer at a bar right on the beach, sat back, enjoyed the beer, and relaxed. The next bus picked me up around 4pm and took me back to town. When I got back to my Hostel it was happy hour and only $3 pints, so I had three and decided since it was my last night in Adelaide that I would get a little drunk. When happy hour ended, I stopped by a pub I walked by a few times before and I had noticed they had a hunting game. It was called Extreme Hunting and you got a choose which animal you wanted to hunt, there was Brown Bear, Grizzly Bear, Moose, Elk, and two types of deer to choose from. I decided to get a beer and some change to play them all. I ended up having about four beer and played about six games. While I was playing some mentally ill person was at the other end of the bar arguing with the bartenders and getting kicked out. He actually picked up a stool at one point, but I was luckily far enough away there was no way he could throw it that far. He left and the police showed up about five minutes later and took a statement from the bartender. I guess they had had problems with this guy before. After the Big Game Hunting, I met up with the young German guy, Michael, still staying in my room. We went to grab some dinner, but he saw the food prices for most of the restaurants and decided to just grab some food at the market. I didn't feel like making food, so I grabbed some fast food and stopped at another bar that had Buck Hunter II. I had a couple beers and played a few more games of Buck Hunter. I also played one game of Keno, since they had it at the bar too. After that I just headed for the Hostel and went straight to bed.

The shark bit him, but eventually let go and he somehow made it to the surface; he ended up with 472 stitches in his torso and 93 in his hand.
