You must be asking yourself... 3 updates in 1 day.  Im amazing

Ok... so we learned this morning that our hostel has no beds for tonight.  We phoned every other hostel we could find and none of them had any beds.  Australia day... the Australian Open.. and Big Day Out concert have filled the city.  Krystal and I spent the day wandering around town.. trying to stay warm.  It was rainy and windy all day.  It sucked.  We left our luggage at the train station in a locker because we had no where to else to leave it.

We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe because it started to pour and we were standing right outside.  We spent the rest of the day on the internet.. checking K's email every 30 seconds to see if anything came in.  The train left at 8pm so we needed to know before that.  Just after 7 an email came through... we were in!  2 tickets to the finals where Nestor would play before the men's final.  So happy.... now we needed to find a place to stay.  This meant we had to lie to Mark... to his face ... because we only had 2 tickets and felt bad.  It also meant we had no flag for the final.

We headed back to St Kildas because it has nicer places to eat.. ate supper and tried to find another place to stay.  We went back into the city to meet my friend Rob who I met in europe.  He ended up working late which meant our last hope for a place to stay was gone..  We ended up at the original Cooee hostel where we had stayed the past week. We had to rent the fancy room for $150.  It was nice.. and a lot warmer than sleeping on the streets.

Tomorrow.. the FINAL!!  It has been sold out for months.. and tickets are around $200 each.  So pumped.

Lastly, we looked everywhere for a flag... after the news.  We even found one.. in a camping store.. but it was closed and not open Sundays.  I openly wept.
