Randy at Ratskys

Last day in the Philippines boohoo The week went too quickly.

Edna took me too another shopping mall and market place which was really good. Once again i ate lots and shopped lots.  Afterwards we met Gladdis and went for an afternoon of pampering. I had a sauna and then a full body massage. It was a thai/swedish/shiatsui massage. It was very relaxing.  Gladdis treated me to it, how kind.  Headed into Chinatown and had  feast of a meal, i was so stuffed i could barely walk!

Star struck!

At 1030pm the girls decided to take me out for my last night in Manila. It was a thursdaya nd the place was jumping, Was like being in a Spanish resort with all the tauts trying to get you to go into their bar. In the end we went to a place called Ratskys. It is a bar/club own by the Philippino singer Randy Santiago(He is the Robbie Williams over here).  Just by chance he was singing there that night,perfect ;o)  We ordered a few beers and relaxed and enjoyed the show.  However i could see the 1 girls were up to something. Gladdis handed a barman a piece of paper which he handed to Randy.  2mins later he was asking who "Pauline" was! How embarrassing! He ended up getting off the stage and coming over and chatting to me. The big spotlight was beaming on me- brass can!  He asked if he could sing me a song, so i ended up having to go up on stage while he sang to me! There was me sat on a highstool on the stage as he held my hand and sang to me. He sang one of his English songs.  It was v embarrassing but good to look back on ha ha!  Trust me.  We stayed until nearly 3am then went back to the apartment, I had to finish packing as had to get up at 7am!
