Tegucigalpa Necessary stop on my way to Leon

Left Copan at 6am.  Caught a bus to San Pedro Sula, and then another bus to the capital, Tegucigalpa.

Initial impressions, it is very polluted and lots of traffic, but the city reminds me of southern spain colonial towns.  Winding, narrow streets, and lots, lots of taxis.

Had Chinese food, which was probably the worst food I have ever had on this trip (or past few years).  Got directions to Leon from the owner of the backpacking place, should take us about 7.5 hrs to get to the beautiful colonial city of Leon.

Looking forward to some relaxing and catching an early bus tomorrow.
