We decided to miss the organised city tour of San Francisco. We got to a point yestrady that we had had enough of the bus. Did our own thing which is very easy in San Francisco. Walked to Union Square and shopped in Macy's and Neiman Marcus. Met Trudi and Bob for lunch in Macy's Cheesecake Factory. Weather was good so we took a table on the Sky Terrace. Fabulous as was the cheesecake - just to die for. Walked back to 2nd Avenue for the hotel and prepared for our night tour of Alcatraz. Unfortunatrely it started raining but that made it all the more eerie.
Yesterday we hit the wall - no more bus tours
