The next day started with me meeting everyone at their hotel at 8:45.  After a few minutes of hanging out, we walked around the planty to Wawel.  We walked around the back along the river where they dragon is and realized the tour of the dragon's lair started up at the castle.  As we made our way up the hill nearing the big courtyard a parade of very official cars came through.  It was cool to see, but I'm not sure who it was (the night before a similar thing happened in the square- guards were surrounding a restaurant and there were many official cars parked around it).

We got tickets to the treasury and artillery museum and the dragon's lair.  We had a scheduled time to go to the museum, so we went ahead and grabbed lunch at Wawel.  We were sitting outside and it started raining, but luckily we were under a big umbrella.  Everyone had perogis except Jake ordered a sandwich.  Jake's sandwich didn't come out when our perogis did, and our drinks weren't out either.  Finally she comes out with the drinks and as she's handing them out, she spills a coke all over Jake and some splashed on me and Dad too.  She felt really bad, but it was a big mess.  Not a good lunch for Jake!

The treasury and artillery museum was pretty cool.  Just a bunch of armor, old horse saddles, swords, guns, cannons, etc.  Then, to the dragon's lair.  It's a short little cave, but for 3 zloty it's a cool thing to do.

Then, walking back mostly in the rain, we go back to the hotel to freshen up to go to the Wieliczka Salt Mine.  The mine is really cool!  Everything is made of salt, the walls, floors, stairs, statues, chandeliers!  The salt is dark because it is mixed with dirt.  Our tour guide would shine a flashlight onto it and it would get brighter and you could see it's actually salt!  My favorite part was the church made of salt.

When we got back we went out to eat at my favorite restaurant, Miod Malina.  We ate outside and it was so pretty.  I think everyone enjoyed their meal!
