Florence is my third home considering Sorrento is my second. Florence had great shopping (where I got most of the gifts for back home), and has the best gelato besides Sorrento. The streets are narrow, but not suffocating. There are lots of vespas (like mopeds, but way cooler), and they line the roads. The Ponte Vecchio was just breath taking, and I bought a little watercolor of it for 1 Euro. Beware of the watercolors, and make sure they are real if you want a real one. Sometimes you have to look really hard, but you'll be able to see the pixels if it's a printer copy. I have one and have kept it, because no one else will know that it's from a printer, unless they look really close. I had a pigeon follow me around for a day, and I managed to snap a shot of the David by Michelangelo. I want to go back and study in Florence with in the next few years, so hopefully I can make that happen.
