We're spending a few weeks staying with Brendan's cousin Angela and her fiance Heath.   We quite like Adelaide so we are doing some investigating to find out what work opportunities are around.

7/5/07.  We have enjoyed the past 2 weeks site-seeing around Adelaide, and relaxing at Ange and Heath's.  It's also been so nice to be able to sit on a couch and catch up on some Tv!!  And to go out and enjoy some of Adelaide's nightlife.

We were pretty lazy about looking for work for the first week and a half we were in Adelaide, but we're looking harder now.  We have registered to do a free vine pruning training course because there is a lot of pruning work at this time of year in the McLaren Vale area, south of Adelaide.  However, the course doesn't start till the vines are ready for pruning so we've got a few weeks to wait around.

The weather here hasn't been that great lately.  Actually I'm not sure I can say that - SA really needs the rain!  Instead I'll say it's drizzled and rained nearly every day for the past week.  Not so good for being motivated to site see or spend a lot of time outdoors camping!  Now that summer is well and truely over we'll have to learn to deal with wintery weather while camping... or look for other accommodation, especially while we're working.

Tomorrow we're planning on heading down to Victor Harbour for a few days to get out of the city.  The weather is supposed to improve as the week goes on.
