Valencia was a great time. When we first arrived, it was raining and freezing cold. That day was the first day it had snowed in Valencia in 5 years. It was too crappy to go sightseeing so we went to a bar for the day. I traveled with 25 other americans from my study abroad program and it got a little crazy at times. The hostel was fun. My 5 girlfriends and I stayed in a 10 person hostel with 3 british girls and a spanish guy named Marcos...he was very sweet. We went to the Fox Congo at night for some dancing. I got a late night falaffel at a local joint. The next day was sunny and we ate pizza by the fountain, visited the cathedral and rode the bus turistica for awhile. We stopped at "La Ciudad de las ciencias y artes". The architecture was beautiful. We went to oceanographic, one of the most famous aquariums in Europe. I got to see walruses, baluga whales, penguins, sharks, dolphins and much more. We went back to the hostel for a nap and then headed out to a club called Indiana. The cover was 20 euro, but it included a free drink so it wasn't too bad. There were sharks in tanks at the bar. Overall, it was a good time except for the weather on the first day and the fact that I might have gotten ring worm from the hostel ahhhh!
