This morning it was an early start for our departure from Capri. A return ride down the finnicular and we then boarded the boat for Naples. This ride took 50 mins on rough seas. Paula put on her MP3 player and turned up the music really load so it was enough for me to listen to as well. I think if the ride had been much longer I would have been having my breakfast again!! After this we boarded the coach and started on our 5hr drive to Assisi. We did stop after about two hours for a "rest" stop and an early lunch. When we arrived in Assisi, we joined our local guide at the top of Assisi and walked down through the town to the Saint Frances of Assisi cathederal. Our tour group was taken through St Claire's Cathederal as well as the two Saint Frances' Cathederal. I lit a candle for mum in the main Cathederal - she would have loved it here.

After this we boaded the bus again for a quick drive to our hotel which was in the more modern part of Assisi. Here we had a tour dinner and then retired early.
