Bodie is America's largest ghost town. It once boasted 10,000 people all seeking their fortune during the gold rush. When they started to move on they left most of their possessions because of the toll roads at the time. It is now a living museum. You can walk around the town peering into the rundown homes and shops, most with dusty items still on tables and clothes hanging up. Fascinating and spooky.
