This week we started off with our first EAD put on by Bequie and Ajith. I forget its title but we go to go to one of the Mennonite colonies for a "Field trip" per say. When we returned we were given our work placements. Once again I was fortunate enough to get my #1 choice, The Town of Neepawa. My working partner is Pathum, he has honest to god the biggest and brightest smile I've ever seen. He's is really into teaching me Shinghala and is a bit daunted by the cold factor we are going to have to face during work but They have bought us some Carhart-like coats so I dont think it will be too bad. For the rest of the week Pathum and I picked some garbage from a ditch in town, we built a flower bed 18' by 16' and tapers towards the highway so we can later plant tuulips in the form of a Maple leaf. On the wekend it was pretty low key as i hope not all are. I helped Murray pack a little for his hunting trip and saw him off. Then Sunday I went into town to see if anyone was up to hanging out. I went to Max's house first, not there. Then to Audree's house, not there. Nick was asleep, and I didn't know whwere Nikita or Mike lived. GREAT!! So I went down to the park and took some pictures for the whole day until Donna came and got me. That night there was a hockey game so Donna drove me in to see it. I met up with Nikita, NIck and Mike and we sat in the Wae Wae section to cheer for Neepawa. Good times for sure..
