Memory lane in Sydney

Our four days in Sydney were a trip down memory lane for both of us. We stayed near Chinatown and enjoyed the cheap asian food. Darling Harbour was more impressive than the last time we had each visited, in 1997, more developed and really lively. We went to the Imax cinema there and saw a fun 3D film. Circular Quay and the whole Sydney harbour has to be one of the most impressive sights in the world, and you can just sit and watch the harbour activity for hours.
We went to Manly Beach and further up to Palm Beach (where 'Home and Away' is filmed) and stopped for an ice cream at Alf Stewart's surf club. On our last day we had another go at surfing at Bondi Beach. Not quite as successful as our last attempt but we blamed the conditions. We celebrated our last night in Oz with a lovely dinner in Bondi Junction with a great view of the Sydney skyline. We really are a lucky pair as once again we were treated to this by the Smiths.
