Getting to Nice from Lyon took a bit of time, but whatever. We're on European time anyways. The ride went past a bunch of Riviera towns including Cannes so we got to see all of them. They pretty much all look the same. Lots of beach, and steep on the other side.

We got there, exhausted and hungry, but there was a beach nearby so none of that mattered. Our first taste of beach on the trip.

There wasn't really a sandy beach, it was all rocks (check out the pictures) but surprisingly they aren't that uncomfortable.. when lying on your back.

We did a bunch of walking as usual, and did some sunburning. After all that, we checked out the France game. France won the semi-final and were headed to the finals. We were 2 for 2 in bringing good luck to the home team for our trip (remember England won when we were there). Yup, we're just good luck charms. It must be our really really good looks.

Oh yeah, we also left Nice one day to go to a town called Eze. Not much to report. Rocks on the beach there too.
