Prague is one of the most amazing places in Europe that just takes your breath away. It was one of the few places not bombed in WWII so all of the architecture is extremely old and authentic. Have a drink in Old Town Square or take a walk on Charles Bridge. No matter what you do, it feels like you are in old Europe.

The koruna (crown) is the currency in Czech Republic and has a very good exchange rate. This makes dining and going out extremely affordable. Pivo (czech beer) is a mere fifty cents. A traditional Czech meal can be had for 150 crowns. The nightlife is awesome! From Lucerna with eighties dance night to Le Clan the Russian Mafia bar, to Juve where everyone knows your name, there really is something for everyone.

There are too many wonderful memories and stories to list, so I will only share my favorite Top 10 Praha Moments

10. Bohemian Bagel...a nice American bagel place! We spend many mornings here curing a hangover with the only American food we could find.

9. Visits from friends...with many of my friends also enjoying the study abroad adventure we played hostess quite a few times. To Graeme's two week stay (ha!) to Abbe's absinthe night to Dani's all nighter and Kane's nice visit (I am still mad) it was so lovely to share this experience!

8. The Charles Bridge afternoon...there is no better way to spend an afternoon than walking through the tourist street passing the sex machine and tortue musuem, on to Charles Bridge enjoying all the artists and tourists and then to Cream and Dream to enjoy the best icecream in Praha.

7. BarBar...so many great times at this bar including Ali's birthday celebration where we had a wonderful cake! However, the best night was the first time, where we came in at 3 in the afternoon and stayed until 12 drinking grog and playing the 'tractor' game.

6. Erasmus going away party (one of the many)... this night started off with a boat trip up and down the river. The music was good, the food was free and the pivo was flowing. (for some tequilla!) We went ashore at 11 and proceeded to Le Clan thanks to our good mate James. What a crazy bar! However, the night was cut a little short (3 am) with a brownie incident and an Angelina Jolie look alike!

5. Tram rides...#9, #52 to being harrassed by bums, to seeing a bum masturbate, to eating KFC on the tram, to making emergecy stops, these trams played an essential part in making sure we got around.

4. St. Patricks weekend...this weekend was the essence of what my Prague trip was lilke. We started off with St. Patricks night at the only Irish pub in Prabgue O'Reileys. Joined by Tobi's crazy German friends and many other students the night was celebrated in true Irish style. The next night was an even bigger party at Nebe, where we danced and drank the night away. The next morning us girls went on a trip to Karlvy Vary, which to say the least was the not the best bus ride. We spent the weekend in the spa town relaxing, cooking and trying to find the damn spa!

3. Nation to Nation...every Tuesday (because as international students we had no class Wednesday)  Erasmus hosted a party that showcased one country. Those students who to put on a presentation with cultural facts, food and of course drink. Needless to say, these were the crazy times, from the US party where we pissed everyone off with 'America f*** yeah' to the Germany party where I danced with the green fairy, to the Mexican party in Radost. Nastreví!

2. My Picante's...my lovely and dear friends, what would I have done without you!!! Joe Dirt you always made us laugh, T-Ali, I would have been lost (literally) without you! And my Daddy-o you were my shining beacon for American pride! We really showed Praha how things were done between the countless girls nights, dance parties at Lucerna, gay clubbing, shopping at H and M and so many other countless memories,  I love you girls, really.

1. My German... what can I say? The first time I spotted you across the smoke filled bar of Juve, I know you were the one. You taught me so  many things like how to use a map, how to properly stand on a tram, how to speak German and how to trust. We had so many romantic adventures from Petrin Hill, to our Opera date, to movies and dinners and so many wonderful things. Because of you and the city we fill in love with, Prague will always be close to my heart.
