Sunday, September 3

On Sunday, we put our walking shoes on and set out to tour the hotels along The Strip. We take the tram to Excalibur. Walk over the bridge to NY NY and keep walking down the strip past a lot of construction to The Bellagio where we check out the conservatory. Next we head across the street to Paris, where we play .25 slots. We check out the Venetian, but decide not to splurge on the gondola ride because we thought it would be weird for two women. We also don’t pay the $35 to go to the wax museum, but we take pictures of ourselves with Andre Agassi who will play his last tennis match on this day. Next up is Wynn where we have lunch on the patio at the Terrace Point Cafe. On the way back we stop off at Treasure Island, it’s too early for the Sexy Siren show or to go to Tangerine. We skip the Mirage because we will be heading back there later in the evening. We walk through Caesars Palace to get out of the heat for a bit. We wait a bit for the Bellagio fountain show, but it’s hot and our feet hurt. We decide to take the Deuce ($2 bus) back. We wait about half an hour and see approximately 5 buses heading in the opposite direction on the other side of the street. Exact change is required.

After a two hour nap, we need to grab some food before our show so we get back in our elevator and try the appetizers at Mix Lounge. The view from here, like from the restaurant, is amazing. Again, we are there early and get chairs right at the window.

We take the tram and the monorail back up the strip to The Mirage, for Beatles Love. We had awesome seats only 5 rows back from the stage. The pre-show drinks from the theatre bar are humungous. The show is amazing!
