Sleeping with Mosquitos

I'm sad to report that the Pancake Ladies are still sick. I have now begun to see them as superheros -- big, busty women in golden hairnets with giant spatulas held out toward the sun, brocaded P's shimmering from the fronts of their aprons! Will the Pancake Ladies ever rescue us from morning hunger?
I'm also sad to report this was not an eventful day. We didn't make it into the city because we slept all day due to having not slept all night because of the rock-hard ground at the KOA. One exciting thing happened, though: we discovered the weirdest mosquitos on earth. We were like "eeep" when we saw all the mosquitos buzzing around our campsite because A) mosquitos suck (literally) and, B) we didn't have any bug repelent because we are city dwelling dorks. Weirdly, tho, after spending several nights with these mosquitos, we didn't incur any bites whatsoever, which made us scratch our heads (not from bites) and go "what the heck?"
One exciting thing happened, though: we discovered the weirdest mosquitos on earth.
We decided the reason for our bite-free skin was either:
A) the mosquitos in Kent, Washington are pacifists
B) They aren't really mosquitos, but rather mosquito clones. Michael said there are butterflies like that called Viceroys who pretend to be Monarchs, the latter of which are super poisonous butterflies that will kill you if you eat them. So the Viceroys, who have the same coloring as the Monarchs but are not poisonous, pretend to be Monarchs so potential prey will leave them alone. Maybe the mosquitos in Kent, WA are just masquerading as mosquitos -- tho I don't know why they'd bother since what makes people want to kill mosquitos is their rude blood sucking behavior.
C) we just don't taste good
ANyway, bite free and rested, we spent the evening bumming around Kent, going to the local Walmart for our beloved air mattress, eating at Arby's (because they don't seem to have them in San Francisco and I miss their wondrous potato cakes!), and taking a late-night dip in the pool at the KOA during which time we learned that it should be more than 70 degrees out if you expect to swim without chattering teeth.
